OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG
I just saw BOnes!
(and dad had the oh-so-bright idea of interrumpting in the middle of an important scene for something that could've waited!)
it was such a brilliant episode!
SO heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time!
when they kissed in the flashboack I squeed. then it happened in the present and my jaw dropped. I could not believe it.
finally!!!! things are out in the open!
and I truly believe is in love with him, just afraid. afraid of hurting him, afraid if she lets him in, and it goes sour then she'll never be able to put up those walls again, afraid they'll break up and never be friends, afraid of losing him, afraid of it all going well and not being able to live without it, afraid of not being good enough for him...I could go on.
I'm happy Booth made a move. finally a change in dynamics. they cannot ignore it any longer.
now Brennan needs to realize that while a relationship is scary it could be wonderful, she needs to take a gamble for once in her life.
it's funny, I was watching coupling and something similar happens with two characters. they're about to get together and something happens and they don't and then they have a sort of rejection talk and say they should move on but don't and a couple of episodes later, they're together and they live happily ever after.
This is good for them, they need to move forward. Booth won't move on. he can't. he may try but it won't work.
