OH MY GOD.I JUST HEARD- DAVID TENNANT IS LEAVING DOCTOR WHO.

YES,IT'S OFFICIAL. IT'S ON THE BCC. HE ANNOUNCED IT AT SOME AWARDS SHOW.

AND WHILE I UNDERSTAND AND AGREE AND ALL,MY FIRST REACTION IS STILL "NOOOO! DON'T GO!!! QUICK, SOMEONE LOCK HIM IN THE TARDIS!!"

I first saw it on my igoogle page,it said syfyportal so I didn't quite believe but a quick google search got me to the bcc announcement

It seems he's quoting similar reasons to when Billie did. go while you still love it, when you'll miss it, when it's fun, etc

and I have to say,it's not that big of a surprise. I kinda did hope that David would leave with RTD.
if we're on the subject,I also want Billie to be on David's last ep.

but I am shocked and surprise and sad. It's hard to believe,really. I just can't imagine Doctor Who without David Tennant. It's no surprise he's my favourite Doctor. and this show has been my favourite since I started watching, which was ...2004?no,2005,I think. I think it was my first year at uni.
it's been three years and it feels like a lot longer I've watched every ep a million times, someofthem especially s2 I can quote in their entirety.

It's definitely the end of an era and I'll be really sad to see it go.

it's also not a secret I'm not Moffat's biggest fan. when the news broke he'd be the new EP,I was excited and then I thought about it and was scared. the news came before SiL/TFtD. after the ep I felt pretty frightened. I still am. I think he'll change the show a lot and I'm not exactly sure if he'll even take it in a direction I like. I'll still watch,at least an ep or two,I'm sure, to see if I like or not.maybe I will

I was ready to drop House last year cause I didn't like s3 but when I watched s4 I loved it.

If DT were to stay I would as well. I'd keep watching.
but I don't have to worry about that til 2010
and RTD did give me what I asked for, sort of, and that's something Moffat can't ruin or take back or anything, which I am very grateful for.

I am excited and scared to see who'll be the next Doctor. I'm sure that'll either convince to me stay or make me run away.

I just saw the video from the National Television Awards, they showed the audience and RTD was sitting next to Catherine Tate (who deserves a million awards!) and Elizabeth Sladen (whom I like,but I haven't seen her show)
